Converts coordinates and drawings (DWG/DXF) from the Gauss-Krüger system to the UTM system. Your drawings and coordinates are processed entirely locally on your computer.

Requirement: grid file for the conversion
To calculate the coordinates correctly, GK-UTM requires an NTv2 grid or another grid model as a file. This file is not part of the program.
The matching grid files can be downloaded free of charge from the internet; the state surveying offices provide them for their respective areas. If you have questions about the right file, we will be happy to help.
Note on installation: Windows security prompts
All programs developed by Geier-IT are self-signed. Windows (SmartScreen) or your antivirus program may therefore show a warning when downloading or installing, for example „The publisher could not be verified“. This is solely because we do not use a paid certificate from a commercial provider – and not because of a problem with the software.
Geier-IT guarantees: our programs are tested before release, are free of viruses and malware and safe for your system.
