Geier-IT stands for personal support, our own cloud servers made in Germany and fast help with IT problems. Owner-managed by Anton Geier, experienced and always available – for private customers and businesses.
From now on we also develop custom software for Windows, Linux and Android for your company – on request, from the idea to the finished application. In addition, our own Element chat server provides end-to-end encrypted communication, as does an in-house cloud server – both hosted on our own infrastructure in Germany.

Geier-IT was founded in 2010 by Anton Geier – initially under the name SA-Server, known as Geier-IT since 2025. Over the years, a single server has grown into our own server park with multiple levels of redundancy. What has remained is personal contact: as the owner, I am there for you together with my team – on site with you in the Hunsrück or by remote support throughout Germany.

On request we develop individual programs for Windows and Linux as well as apps for Android – from the first idea through implementation to delivery (in the Play Store if you wish), including maintenance & support.
Our own software & downloads →Encrypted chat server (Element)
Our own messenger server, based on the open Matrix protocol and the Element app, encrypts every message end to end – readable only by you and the people you talk to, and nobody else. The same technology has also proven itself for the highest security requirements: the German armed forces also use a Matrix-based messenger for their internal communication. Each account gets 10 GB of its own storage, hosted in Germany; messages and sent files are deleted automatically and completely after 30 days.

Based on the open-source platform Home Assistant we set up an intelligent home for you: more than 1,000 supported devices, automated routines, voice control and energy monitoring – all controlled locally, your data stays with you. Including installation and ongoing support.

Individually assembled PCs, notebooks and peripherals – exactly according to your requirements and your budget, instead of off-the-shelf products. On request we also equip complete offices from the ground up – from workstations through cabling to the network – and continue to look after your IT reliably afterwards.

Nextcloud is our answer to Dropbox & co. – an open-source cloud platform that we host and manage for you entirely on our own infrastructure in Germany. No third-party provider, full control over your data.

Our programs and apps for download
Besides software made to customer order, we also develop our own specialist applications. Every program has its own page with all functions, prices and the download – without registration and without providing personal data.
Kanal-Eigenüberwachung
Recording and documentation of the self-monitoring of sewer systems – in the field of sewer monitoring and water protection.
GK-UTM
Converts coordinates and drawings (DWG/DXF) from the Gauss-Krüger system to the UTM system – entirely locally on your computer.
LV Viewer
Read and search bills of quantities (GAEB, ÖNORM, Excel, CSV) and pass them on as an Excel table.

Licence key required before use
The download is free, but the programs can only be used with a licence key from Geier-IT. Buy the licence from us or first request a trial licence – you will find the enquiry links on the page of the respective program.
Note on installation: Windows security prompts
All programs developed by Geier-IT are self-signed. Windows (SmartScreen) or your antivirus program may therefore show a warning when downloading or installing. This is solely because we do not use a paid certificate from a commercial provider – and not because of a problem with the software.
